The Hiddingen Test Center (HTC) is a privately owned Schedule 1 facility with specialized government licenses to conduct research, training and testing with Schedule 1 chemicals, including the most commonly known chemical warfare agents. The facility is home to several private enterprises such as the Hazard Control Group, Hazard Control Engineering and Core CBRN International. In addition, the HTC is proud to house the German National Information Center for Chemical Weapons, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting chemical weapons safety and awareness. Together, our entities offer unparalleled expertise in the field of CBRN.

The outside training area of the HTC is specifically designed for realistic CBRN training scenarios. Our experienced instructors from Core CBRN International lead specialized training using real chemical warfare agents. The training area is fully secured with a fenced perimeter, and safety is our top priority. The site boasts a range of safety installations including a respirator challenge room, custom-made decontamination container, and a fully equipped medical container.
The HTC has a range of chemical laboratories dedicated for analytical work, testing of equipment and training of personnel.Â
The facility hosts two bunker systems that are used for the safe storage of hazardous materials and testing of explosives. Currently they can be used for training of a variety of realistic CBRN training scenarios with chemical simulants.

The Hiddingen Test Center has state-of-the-art safety and medical support. There is a fully equipped clinic, as well as a permanent on-site ambulance to support any hazardous substance training or testing activities. In the unlikely event of an incident or ill-health our dedicated medical team provides immediate qualified emergency medical care to affected personnel.
